With all due respect to the unique natural and cultural place, a temporary archi-sculptural composition "AbuDu (Gates)" is being created. It's a new perspective, a new situation, like every new moment: suddenly and temporarily, but uniquely, radiantly and brightly! In the heart of our natural fairytale reality, here, between the Nemunas, the painting of heaven and earth is combined into one structure, inviting both builders and viewers to a new community space, a new experience of light, movement, and sound. It's an abstract sculpture, possibly floating with itself and emphasizing the importance of the unity of both worlds in our natural culture, unlocked through the images of island-mountain-ship-gate. An ephemeral wooden structure, a sight of reflection and tangibility, composed of thin wooden threads weaving materiality and transcendence, emerges as if from a legend, still unwritten but being written with every moment. It's an original spatial installation, a fabric that uses almost a kilometer of wooden rays.... ...where one can sail, land, and just be... Alytus, the cultural capital of Lithuania 2022, will open up to a new perspective, a new vision, and a meeting. The artistic composition "AbuDu (Gates)" is one of the possible beacons, sailing from a fairy-tale past, anchoring for a temporary pause, like a bridge of thought visually connecting both shores... And after a year, the fiery beacons will sail up the river to other worlds.
