The goal was to design a space based on the main theme of EXPO 2020, "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," and our country's goal: to present Lithuania as a modern, open-to-the-world state that has preserved its true values. The preamble suggests that the best way to represent the country is through its shared atmosphere, which, undoubtedly, begins with its characteristic nature. The creation of the pavilion primarily takes this cultural aspect into account. On one hand, key phenomena and motifs are used to create a Lithuanian environment: Hillforts, Forests, Clouds, Rain, Flow, Moisture, Dew, Radiance... Trees, Planks, Sails, Amber... And on the other hand: the latest Lithuanian inventions (interestingly related to the sun as well): laser technology, solar panels, holograms, and other impressive achievements. The harmony between the gifts of nature and the latest achievements of our creativity would be reflected in the modern Lithuanian pavilion "Heart of Rain." Rain, like Lithuania. This wooden-aquatic space is envisaged as the main accent, a cultural-natural backdrop for Lithuanian themes.
